realme has been rolling out realme UI to all the eligible devices as per the schedule and has been on track for now. realme launched realme 2 Pro smartphone in India in 2018 running Android 8.1 based ColorOS 5.2. The smartphone received Android 9.0 based ColorOS 6 update in mid-2019. realme 2 Pro has already started receiving Android 10 based realme UI stable update in partial roll-out phase. Now, realme has opened up realme UI 1.0 stable release channel for realme 2 Pro. Users can now have access to the Android 10 based realme UI 1.0 Stable without waiting for it.
To get started, you will need a realme 2 Pro with more than 60% battery and you must be on C.31 version on your realme 2 Pro. Another requirement is you must have more than 5GB of free space on your phone in order to download all the update files required.
To join the realme UI 1.0 Stable release channel, Go to Settings > Software Update. Click on the top-right gear icon, Select Trial Version Upgrade – Select Stable release for realme 2 Pro. realme says users will receive the update within minutes after the submission of successful application. Users can exit your stable release application from the application interface directly which allows the users to exit the stable release before downloading the OTA of Stable Release version. After downloading the OTA for the stable release, or after upgrading to the stable release version, users will not be able to roll-back to the stable ROM.
