At the time of its advent, realme devices shipped with ColorOS. However, as the brand grew and became larger, it started developing its own custom Skin. realme named this custom skin of their’s based on Android as realme UI. It was introduced officially in the month of January as realme UI 1.0. It is now time for the next iteration of realme UI, termed as realme UI 2.0. In fact, realme has already started the testing of realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 for the realme X50 Pro. However, it was a closed build limited to 100 applicants. We covered the features of Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 extensively in a post. realme has now officially announced the launch date for realme UI 2.0 in India. realme is all set to release it alongside the Narzo 20 Series on 21st September 2020.
realme UI 2.0 packs numerous new improvements and additions over its predecessor. According to the Preview Build for realme X50 Pro, realme has added a new Personalization Centre along with a revamped Notification Shade. realme has also upgraded the versatility of the system-wide dark mode with various varying levels of “Darkness”. The brand has also refreshed its Game Space and Camera Layout with new features. realme UI 2.0 would come coupled with Google’s latest and greatest, Android 11.
