realme recently announced the Android 11 Preview Release for the realme X50 Pro. However, Android 11 is not the only highlight of this release. The Android 11 Preview Release for realme X50 Pro comes onboard with the latest iteration of realme UI, the realme UI 2.0. To recall, realme started out with Oppo’s ColorOS as their custom skin and later made the switch to their homegrown realme UI. As evident from its name, realme UI 2.0 is the second version of their homegrown skin. realme UI 2.0 packs several new features and improvements over its previous version. This is the Android 11 feature that realme has already bought to Devices running Android 10!

realme is a relatively young brand in the smartphone market, but it has not stopped them from launching innovative products and supporting them. The software is as important as the hardware on a device, and realme has been good on both the fronts with it’s realme UI. A good software support consists of regular updates that are well optimized, accompanied by the required security patches and Android updates. In the latest #AskMadhav Episode 18, realme CEO Madhav Sheth revealed plans about the Android 11 update roll-out for realme devices. It is no secret that the beta testing for devices like realme X2 Pro and realme X50 Pro is already being carried out for the latest Android Version. This new iteration of the biggest mobile operating system mainly focuses on People, Privacy, and Control. Android 11 brings with it various new as well as better optimized versions of the older features such as media control in the status bar with QS tiles, chat bubbles, among a plethora of other features that you can read about here. However, there’s one Android 11 feature that realme has already provided to realme devices running Android 10.

Upcoming realme Devices will feature Starry Mode, existing devices may get it in Future!

realme Starry Mode realme X series

A few weeks back, realme launched realme X3 Series of smartphones in various markets. realme X3 SuperZoom and it’s sibling are aimed at the budget flagship category, as they packed a flagship SoC at prices that don’t create a dent in the pocket. realme achieved this by settling with last year’s Snapdragon 855+, as this year’s Snapdragon 865 is on the more pricey spectrum due to the 5G Modem. Other than the flagship SoC, realme X3 Series came with other bells and whistles such as a 64MP Quad Camera Setup along with a high refresh rate display. One notable feature of this camera setup on realme X3 SuperZoom was the inclusion of Starry Mode, which helped in capturing the beauty of a night sky full of stars.

Soloop app, compatible with existing realme devices released on App Market


realme introduced the all-new new Soloop – in-house video editor app, with realme 6 Pro March Update. The app is now compatible with other phones running realme UI and can be downloaded from App Market. To recall, the Soloop app was showcased on stage during realme 6 series launch, it creates instant slideshows of photos and videos.
