realme 7 Series to Launch in India on 3rd September, Here’s what we know so far!

realme 7 Series India Launch

realme number series is perhaps one of the most successful series by realme. The number series was recently re-strategized along with other line-ups to bring a change to realme’s expansion strategies in India. realme 6 and it’s elder sibling, realme 6 Pro were both launched in March and were the first devices under the redefined realme lineups. Just like realme 6 Series, realme 7 series will also debut with two devices at first, realme 7 and realme 7 Pro. Madhav Sheth marked this upcoming launch of realme 7 Series as arrival of the #Faster7. realme has now officially revealed that realm 7 Series India launch will take place on 3rd September at 12:30 PM and will be streamed on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter accounts, respectively.

What we know about realme 7 and realme 7 Pro so far!

realme 7 Pro is said to sport an OLED Display, while the realme 7 will rock a higher refresh rate LCD Panel. Madhav Sheth has already teased the same on Twitter by recalling a poll where the option with AMOLED display won by a huge margin. realme 7 Pro is going to be the first device in the realme Number Pro series to feature a AMOLED display, this is a good move as there has been a void in the INR 20,000 segment since past few months.

On similar lines as the AMOLED tease, Madhav Sheth also confirmed in-display fingerprint scanner. This feature will be a first for this segment. Going by the official teasers, consumers are definitely in for a treat.

According to certification websites, both devices won’t have support for 5G and instead be limited to 4G LTE. This is in line with previous leaks, according to which realme 7 will be powered by Mediatek Helio G95 while realme 7 Pro will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, similar to it’s predecessor. The company has also teased that it is going to introduce world’s first processor with realme 7 Series.

realme has confirmed that it is introducing 2nd Gen 64MP Quad Camera technology with realme 7 Series, product landing page on flipkart has confirmed that realme 7 series smartphones will pack a Sony 64MP sensor, with f/1.8 aperture and 1/1.73″ sensor size. The other lenses are going to be ultra-wide-lens with 119 field of view, macro lena and portrait lens. It is certainly a bit disappointing to see realme ditching telephoto lens from realme 6 Pro.

realme 7 and realme 7 Pro are expected to come with 5,000mAh and 4,500mAh battery, respectively. The intriguing point to note is that according to leaks realme 7 Pro will come with a dual-cell battery type that supports 65W Charging. This will be a huge news as these kind of charging speeds have been limited to flagships such as realme X50 Pro only until now. However, the younger realme 7 is speculated to be limited to 30W.
