realme has been releasing devices at a quite fast pace. Keeping up with the pace, the company also needs to address enthusiasts’ needs. One such area is the timely release of kernel sources. realme has finally released realme C3 kernel source which is based on Android 10. To recall, realme C3 series made its global debut in India in the first week of February. It was the first smartphone to sport MediaTek Helio G70 in the world and packed dual rear camera setup. The smartphone made global debut but with triple rear camera setup and fingerprint sensor.

With realme C3 kernel source available, users can now expect to have custom ROMs for the device like Pixel Experience for realme 5 Pro. The device sports Mediatek Helio G70 SoC, and devices using MediaTek SoCs often get less third-party support The kernel source is not useful for masses but these codes required by the developers. These developers modify and build their own ROMs/kernels for the device as Android is an Open Source OS. As Android is powered by Linux Kernel, it must comply with the General Public Licence. GPL says the users are free to study, modify the software. You can download the kernel source from the GitHub source link below.
