realme unveiled it’s first ever smartwatch, realme Watch in India just yesterday. We already knew that realme was working on atleast two smartwatches including realme Watch, one of which seemed to run Wear OS. Now, realme CMO, Francis has specified that the realme smartwatch with round dial is indeed a flagship model and is under planning. We hope to see Wear OS based realme Smartwatch this year around a price of INR 10-12,000.
[Mar 28]: realme CEO, Madhav Sheth showed us a glimpse of realme smartwatch recently in an episode of #AskMadhav. The smartwatch he showed had an Apple watch inspired squircle design with the thick bottom bezel. Last month, realme had released a teaser video showing multiple upcoming realme smartwatch. The realme smartwatch in the teaser video had a round dial and seem running WearOS. After yesterday’s teaser, a user took it to twitter to ask realme CMO, Francis Wang about the upcoming smartwatches. Francis in response said that
Haha. After all, we cant release everything in one go.😃 From basic watch to High end, time to be smarter.
The response hints that there are multiple realme smartwatches under development and the recently teased one might be a basic smartwatch-like Huami Amazfit BIP. It will be interesting to see the software on the basic variant which Madhav showed in the video. Either way, having a portfolio of products in a category is always good for consumers as well as brands. realme Central aims to become a one-stop solution for realme users across the globe, join us on Twitter, and Telegram.
