realme updates Warranty and Replacement policies amid COVID-19 Lockdown

[Apr 22, 2020]: realme has updated warranty policy amid COVID-19 nation-wide lockdown to provide relief to users. Users can now claim a warranty till 30th June for the product for which warranty expires between 20th Mar to 3rd May.

[Mar 26, 2020]: COVID-19 epidemic has affected everything across the globe. Smartphone OEMs have canceled their launch event amid 21-days country lockdown. Companies have put smartphone sales on halt and e-commerce portals had to put deliveries of ordered goods on hold.

To provide users some relief, realme has now announced that it will extend warranty and replacement timeline due to COVID-19,

  • Extended warranty till 31st May for those whose warranty expires between 20th Mar to 30th Apr
  • Extended Replacement period to 30 days for those who purchased our devices between 15th Mar- 30th Apr

Users who ordered realme smartphones in recent sales need not worry about the warranty of their product. The warranty period for recent purchases will start after users put sim card into their device.
