realme Link App and Smart Features
realme Link app is realme’s attempt to unify and control all it’s AIoT products at one place. With respect to realme Watch, it is the only way via which the watch can communicate with the phone, as the app can be used to view the statistics in detail related to the various fitness aspects, like;
- Sleep History
- History of Steps Walked
- One of the 14 Sports Mode
- Heart Rate Monitoring along with graphs
- SPo2 Monitoring
realme Watch uses a 3 Axis Accelerometer in combination with a Rotor Vibration Motor for tracking and providing feedback to the user for alarms etc, as the watch doesn’t have a speaker. Other sensors include heart rate monitor, blood oxygen monitoring sensor.
But wait, this isn’t just a fitness tracker, the watch packs a ton of smart features ranging from notification display, option to select and start tracking fro watch itself it displays the weather details. Another very useful feature is the option to control music playback, skipping tracks, right from the watch itself.
The one feature that really caught our fancy was the option to use realme watch as a smart remote for various AIoT products like, smart bulbs, smart speakers, smart air purifiers, realme’s own TWS earphones, smart TV and so on, However, the feature wasn’t available currently for testing as realme has said it will soon arrive as an ota update.
Other than the prominent one’s mentioned, the watch also provides tons of other’s features that are accessible from the watch itself ranging from stopwatch to find my phone, which can help you in the tricky situations when you have displaced your device and can’t find it (Phone needs to be connected via Bluetooth for this to work). Some other notable features are;
- Meditation Helper
