realme X3 SuperZoom Kernel Source based on Android 10 now available!

realme has a pretty decent track record in terms of releasing kernel sources. They have had issues in the past with smartphones getting sources almost 5-6 months after the launch of the phone. But today, realme has released realme X3 SuperZoom kernel source which is based on Android 10. The smartphone was launched back in May this year.

With realme X3 SuperZoom kernel source available, users can now expect to have custom ROMs for the device like Pixel Experience for realme 5 Pro. The device has last received a July security patch update along with a lot of bug fixes. There is no mention of the standard realme X3 in the sources or the commit, but since both share the same specs, it can be assumed that it is also supported and unified in this release. The device is yet to receive the official bootloader unlocking support.

These developers modify and build their own ROMs/kernels for the device as Android is an Open Source OS. As Android is powered by Linux Kernel, it must comply with the General Public Licence (GPL). GPL says the users are free to study, modify the software. You can download the kernel source from the GitHub source link below.

To recall, realme X50 Pro made it’s debut this year with Snapdragon 855+, The highlight of the device was the periscope lens which can do up to 60X zoom. Other notable features include a 120Hz LCD display, a 64MP Quad rear camera, and a 32MP dual punch-hole front camera. The device was launched in India, Pakistan, Australia, and many other countries.
