realme has released realme UI 1.0 for most of the devices as per timeline. Keeping up with the pace, the company also needs to address enthusiasts’ needs. One such area is the timely release of kernel sources, but realme has delayed it by almost 6 months. realme has been consistently updating the device with new features and bug fixes. realme has released realme x50 Pro kernel source which is based on Android 10.
With realme X50 Pro kernel source available, users can now expect to have custom ROMs for the device like Pixel Experience for realme 5 Pro. To remind you, the device already has Android 11 Beta 1 available for users to test APIs. The kernel source is not useful for masses but these codes required by the developers. These developers modify and build their own ROMs/kernels for the device as Android is an Open Source OS. As Android is powered by Linux Kernel, it must comply with the General Public Licence (GPL). GPL says the users are free to study, modify the software. You can download the kernel source from the GitHub source link below.
To recall, realme X50 Pro made it’s debut this year with Snapdragon 865 and was the first 5G device available in the country. Since then it has been released in several countries and is one of the affordable phones with the flagship SoC. It also has a 64MP Quad Camera with a dual punch-hole front camera, 90HZ AMOLED Display, and 65W charging support. We expect realme to release the kernel sources for realme X50 Pro based on Android 11 along with the new update.
