Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 now rolling out to realme narzo 20 as a part of realme UI 2.0 Early Access Program

realme launched the realme Narzo 20 in India a few weeks back. The device ran Android 10 based realme UI 1.0 out of the box. Since then realme has been rolling out regular security patches along with various features and optimizations to the device. At the same event, realme revealed the realme UI 2.0 in India. This next iteration of realme’s custom skins comes with a ton of new features such as improved dark mode and chat bubbles to name a few. Earlier today, realme had announced the realme UI 2.0 Early Access program for realme Narzo 20. .Now, realme Narzo 20 has started receiving Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 update as a part of realme UI Early Access.

realme will Launch Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 on 21st September!

At the time of its advent, realme devices shipped with ColorOS. However, as the brand grew and became larger, it started developing its own custom Skin. realme named this custom skin of their’s based on Android as realme UI. It was introduced officially in the month of January as realme UI 1.0. It is now time for the next iteration of realme UI, termed as realme UI 2.0. In fact, realme has already started the testing of realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 for the realme X50 Pro. However, it was a closed build limited to 100 applicants. We covered the features of Android 11 based realme UI 2.0 extensively in a post. realme has now officially announced the launch date for realme UI 2.0 in India. realme is all set to release it alongside the Narzo 20 Series on 21st September 2020.

realme recently announced the Android 11 Preview Release for the realme X50 Pro. However, Android 11 is not the only highlight of this release. The Android 11 Preview Release for realme X50 Pro comes onboard with the latest iteration of realme UI, the realme UI 2.0. To recall, realme started out with Oppo’s ColorOS as their custom skin and later made the switch to their homegrown realme UI. As evident from its name, realme UI 2.0 is the second version of their homegrown skin. realme UI 2.0 packs several new features and improvements over its previous version.
